This animation explains what Twitter is, how it works and how to get started with it. We can focus on passive voices or learn new vocabulary about social networking and hear how we pronounce special characters. "Twitter" means literally "to chirp". Users send out short messages called "tweets", which their "followers" read. In this way short bits of news can be shared among a circle of friends, colleagues or between provider and client.
